Meet Miss Bonnie

 

 

Hello peeps,

 

My name is Bonnie and my story is one of suffering and then love. My previous owner was not so good….. They locked me up with no food or water and would not permit anyone else to provide it for me…… Prior to that I was bounced around from place to place because my previous owner was homeless or squatting….

Moving around all the time was stressful for me and I was sad. My body was thin, weak and about to give out when I was brought to where I am now. I have been spoiled here for sure. I was abandoned by my previous owner here back in 2024. My exact age is not known but a good estimate is 4 to 5 years old.

I am an orange and white kitty, active, loving and love to snuggle with you in the bed at night. I take my job very seriously too. I love hunting. Rodents, spiders, you name it I will hunt it. I used to eat them, but now I present them as a thank you for all you do for me. I hope you like the presents because hunting them is hard work.

The lady who currently cares for me does a good job. She called me “broken” and took me to a place where they poked me OUCH and I took a nap. When I woke up my belly was partly shaved and she said I was “fixed”. I have felt so much better since that nap. I am gaining weight and have so much more energy. I do well alone or with other kitties. I am ok with small dogs but not larger ones (they scare me).

The place I am now is an amazing cat paradise. I even have my own little house!!! The lady is always bringing new surprises for us. I am in an enclosure with six others, all boys. Some of them are super shy, two of them talk all the time it is hard to get a good nap sometimes!

The lady said I could stay forever if that is what I want. I am seeking a loving home, one that will be forever inside, no more roaming outside where there are so many dangerous things. You cannot imagine what I have seen in my lifetime! I want a warm bed with a soft blanket, lots of good food and treats. But most of all I want someone who lets me snuggle in their lap, plays with me and loves me forever.

I do require things to climb on and hide in. I like adventure and LOVE cardboard boxes. I love small rugs, especially soft ones. They make the best naptime places. I love windows too, so much to see. Bird watching is a favorite past time of mine.

The lady says that someone super special has to be the one who gives me a forever home because of everything I have been through. I promise to be the best kitty you have ever had and be the companion you have always needed. I do not know what an “adoption fee” is but the lady says I have one.

The lady calls herself the catlady, and I can see how well it suits her. She has saved me and given me a joy I have never known before. She said if you wish to inquire comment below and someone will send you an adoption application! But be warned, the lady said it cannot be just anyone, they have to be special because I deserve it. What does that mean?

While I wait I will practice my hunting, climbing and skills so that I am perfect for whomever applies. The lady also points a blinky thing at me so I am sure you can see how beautiful I am. I promise not to shed too much, but I love being brushed a lot.
