Alex Murdaugh Trial & My Thoughts

 

 The Murdaugh name has been highly regarded for around a century in the Low Country. Alex is changing that rapidly though. I said from the beginning, when thie murders were first announced on the news, that Alex is guilty as hell. Watching clips of the trial that much is clearly evident. I have also suspected that Buster, the older son, was involved. After seeing his behavior towards the housekeeper when she testified, I am now convinced he was involved. She had originally said she had heard a 4th voice on the Snapchat video. While on the stand, with Buster making gestures towards her, she changed it to 3 voices. Why?

Alex thought he had these murders all planned out. Alex thought he was going to get away with it. The clothes he wore disappeared.... The guns used disappeared..... I do not think he knew about the Snapchat video that placed him at the scene of the crime moments before Paul and Maggie were so brutally murdered.

If you look at the acts it is also clear that Alex must have had help.

1. The SSnapchat video places Alex at the scene.

2. The video earlier in the day clearly shows Alex wearing different clothing than what he had on in the body cam videos from the police.

3. The officer testified that Alex was "clean" as if he had just showered.

4. Alex had a financial motive to of Maggie & Paul. Their life insurance was enough to cover his debts for decades to come. 

5. Alex admittedly had an addiction that he committed fraud to support.

6. Alex had just gotten confronted over the fraud he had committed and knew he would go to jail. He murdered his wife and son for sympathy and to take the focus off the fraud.

7. Alex hired someone to shoot him on the roadside - it failed. This was an obvious ploy for sympathy and an attempt to escape the justice that was coming.

8. Alex tried to get his mother's caretaker to lie about how long he had visited his mother that night.

9. Too many people have identified Alex's voice on the Snapchat video, no way he can get out of the fact that the video places him at the scene of the crime.

10. Alex had been confronted that morning about the missing money from the lawfirm.

11. Alex and his estate was being sued over the boat accident that Paul caused.

12. New investigations were going on over 2 other deaths connected to Alex and his sons. His former housekeepers slip and fall and his son's friend being found in the road in an attempt to make it look like a hit and run.

If I was a jury member with ONLY the evidence to this point in the trial, I would have no other choice than to find Alex guilty and recommend the strongest punishment. I believe Alex would do it again if given the chance! 

Now, why am I convinced Buster is involved?

1. Where are the missing clothes Alex had on that the housekeeper claims are now gone?

2. Where are the guns? Alex did not have time to clean up and dispose of the guns. Testimony has already established that the guns that killed Paul & Maggie were likely owned by the family because other shell casing bore the small striations as the ones from the murders. (If you do not know what this means please look it up)

3. Watch Buster's behavior in the courtroom. He is obviously trying to intimidate the witnesses. He has been chastised by  the judge once already, and forced to sit farther back in the courtroom. 

4. Buster stood to financially benefit from the murders as well. Now Buster is the SOLE beneficiary of everything. 

5. Buster obtained a second driver's license and permitted Paul to use his old one in order to obtain liquor.

6. I have watched the Snapchat video and agree with the housekeeper's first statement. There is a 4th voice, very faint in the background, likely Buster. 

7. Paul and Maggie were shot with different guns. It is likely that Alex had one, Buster had the other and both fired at the same time. Then Buster gathered the guns and left to dispose of them while Alex cleaned himself up to establish his alibi.

8. Everything pertaining to Buster has been hush hush, I haven't even found and interrogation video of him. That would indicate that there is still an open investigation into Buster to which the police are not able to comment while the investigation is ongoing.

There is just way too much suspicious shit pointing to both of them. As a laptop juror it is evident the two of them planned this, carried it out and are now trying to cover their asses. It is first degree murder and both of them should get the max allowed by law! 

The truly sad part of this is that a drug addiction caused it all!
