Cloning..... Read NOW

Clones, cloning and so much more

Back in 1996 we broke NEW ground scientifically. Remember Dolly?

She was a cloned SHEEP that was supposed to help end world hunger. By cloning meat animals it would have been beneficial for under developed countries. That was how they talked about it on TV….
She was a success. So why did the experiment STOP in its tracks?????
More importantly – WHAT precisely are they cloning NOW????

Dolly was NOT the first to be cloned, she was the first SUCCESSFUL clone…. Prior attempts did not end in positive results…

Why was Dolly so important?
Dolly was important because she was the first mammal to be cloned from an adult cell. Her birth proved that specialised cells could be used to create an exact copy of the animal they came from. This knowledge changed what scientists thought was possible and opened up a lot of possibilities in biology and medicine, including the development of personalised stem cells known as iPS cells.
However, Dolly was not the first ever cloned mammal. That honour belongs to another sheep which was cloned from an embryo cell and born in 1984 in Cambridge, UK. Two other sheep, Megan and Morag, had also been cloned from embryonic cells grown in the lab at The Roslin Institute in 1995 and six other sheep, cloned from embryonic and foetal cells, were born at Roslin at the same time as Dolly. What made Dolly so special was that she had been made from an adult cell, which no-one at the time thought was possible.

Dolly was even able to reproduce – meaning get pregnant and deliver healthy babies……

They HAVE cloned cats…….

11. What about cloning pets?

It is understandable that someone would want to clone a beloved pet after it dies. However, there would still be significant differences between the clone and the original pet, both in their looks and personality. A good example of this is the first cloned cat CC and her DNA donor Rainbow. Although CC is Rainbow’s clone and shares her DNA, the two cats look completely different. This is because coat colour and pattern is influenced by the environment in the womb, something which cannot be replicated by cloning.

And they CAN clone humans….

12. Can humans be cloned? Is anyone doing this?

It is technically possible to clone humans using the same method which made Dolly. However, following the debate surrounding Dolly’s birth, human cloning for the purposes of producing more humans (reproductive cloning) has been banned in many countries around the world, including the UK. There have been some claims in the media of successful human reproductive cloning, but no scientific evidence has been produced to support these claims.
When Dolly the Sheep was unveiled to the public, many concerns were raised about the possibility of using the same technology to clone humans. The scientists who were involved in the research which produced Dolly have discussed the ethical implications of her birth in many places, from scientific conferences to media interviews and public events, and have repeatedly stated their opposition to human reproductive cloning. In the days following the announcement of Dolly’s birth to the media, Prof Ian Wilmut spoke in front of the US Congress and the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee as part of their enquiries into cloning.
Therapeutic cloning, where cloned human embryos are created for the sole purpose of producing embryonic stem cells for clinical research or use, is permitted by law in the UK but is very tightly controlled by the government. In therapeutic cloning, the embryos are only ever grown in the lab and aren’t transferred into a surrogate womb. Stem cells produced by therapeutic cloning are a genetic match to their DNA donor, who could be a patient with a disease such as motor neuron disease or diabetes. Stem cells which have been cloned from patients like these can be studied by scientists to discover more about what happens to cells in these diseases or could provide a source of patient-matched stem cells to replace faulty cells in the patient’s body.
Although scientists have produced human embryos by therapeutic cloning, iPS cell technology is a more efficient method of producing patient-specific stem cells and has fewer ethical concerns attached to it. As a result, it is now a far more commonly used method than therapeutic cloning. Therapeutic cloning in the UK is regulated by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority.
This short video from EuroStemCell, featuring Professor Sir Ian Wilmut who led the research which produced Dolly,  explains the difference between reproductive cloning and therapeutic cloning and discusses the ethical issues associated with them.

Here is a full list of what they admit to PUBLICALLY that they have cloned….

Considering many of these animals have far more complex DNA than a HUMAN does……. It is not a far stretch to KNOW that behind the scenes human cloning experimentation is happening….

But on WHO????

One Facebook page has some theories….

Many know about the conspiracy theories going around. I personally share a bunch of the ones I find interesting…. Even ones who claim certain celebrities have been cloned…..

The most recent of these is that MANY high profile people have been arrested and executed for being involved in child sex trafficking. Somewhere on my Facebook wall are plenty of these shares.

Some of these names include Bill and Hillary Clinton. There ARE articles that say both have been arrested and executed and the ones we see on TV are clones OR CGI. The list I shared is quite extensive as well…..
There are celebrities coming forward who talk of cloning and experimentation and many other things most consider crazy and impossible….

But cloning a human IS possible and has been attempted…. We clone stem cells all the time for scientific purposes…..

Before you brush off these people talking about human clones…… Look into the research on cloning…. Then you will see it IS possible and likely occurring behind the scenes…..

My question though is WHO are they cloning and WHY????
