Dream Of The Soul


For life it seems to have the divine way,
A soul must suffer, tortured in the game.
Of love they twist in gleams of sunshine day,
Only that the soul should never be tamed.
 Escape from turmoil, suffering, shame, and strife,
Seems a pipe dream lost in clouds on the sky.
Evermore to play the game some call life,
Ne'er to wake or breathe fresh air, just pray to try.
We ride this wild and passionate ride now,
Our dreams of peace forever silenced sound.
